After a good amount of time thinking and a small discussion with Paul which included the class, i have come to the conclusion that my city of choice will be, New York.
Reasons are that New York has much more distinctive qualities. And I think these qualities make it a lot more recognizable compared to other cities.
As well as the big qualities such as skyline views, yellow taxi's and the (sometimes poorly imitated design) I heart New York logo by Milton Glaser, New York has other little qualities that link to the city. Smaller details like the fonts that people associate with New York, (ITC American Typewriter) and graffiti style of type due to its vast amount of urban art, that could make a good impact on the design.
With all these aspects applied to my mural I think it could work well, and will easily show the city that Yo! Sushi has based there new restaurant.
